One of the most delicious and satisfying main dishes you can make is pork tenderloin. There are many flavor combinations that work excellently with pork including spicy Asian inspired complements to sweet American flavors with apples. Sometimes, however, you may just be looking for something easy that everyone will like. If that is the case, try this excellent pork tenderloin marinade that has a bit of Asian and American style:

In a large bag that is able to be closed at the top, like a Ziploc bag, mix ¼ cup of olive oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp ginger (fresh or powdered), 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic, ¼ cup brown sugar, 3 tbsp Dijon mustard and ¼ cup of Jack Daniels bourbon. Add fresh pork tenderloin and marinate for 6-8 hours minimum. Many people prepare the pork tenderloin marinade in the morning or leave in the refrigerator overnight for best results. You can grill this on your barbecue or brown it in your oven until it is cooked through. For safety with all meat, ensure there is an internal temperature of at least 160 F.

If you enjoy that superb pork tenderloin marinade you may want to try a steak marinade recipe. Like pork tenderloin, there are many great flavor complements to steak from the spicy and bold flavors to delicate, sweet choices. The first steak marinade recipe is quite similar to the pork tenderloin marinade above (Yes, it is that delicious): In a blender add 1/3 cup soy sauce, ½ cup olive oil, 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 1 ½ tsp garlic powder, 3 tbsp dry basil, 1 ½ tbsp parsley and 1 tsp white pepper. If you want a spicy marinade add ¼ tsp of hot pepper sauce at this point as well. Blend until mixed.  Pour in a Ziploc bag with steak and let marinade for 8 hours minimum. The longer it marinades the better it will taste!

If you want a steak marinade recipe with a unique taste, try this: in a large bowl add ½ tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp oregano, 1 tbsp onion powder and 3 tbsp of your favorite store bought steak seasoning. Add 1 cup olive oil and ½ cup lemon juice to a Ziploc bag and add the dry seasoning.  Marinate steaks anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day. This is a great recipe for steak before grilling.
