Many people rush to the doctor when they or their children have earaches. However, there are some interesting earache home remedies available. Garlic can be used to treat an earache. Some unusual treatments are Castor oil, holy basil leaves, hot air, olive oil and sesame oil. Some less surprising treatments are hydrogen peroxide, a vaporizer, and chewing something.

○     Garlic

Garlic can be used as drops, as the whole clove or as garlic herbs for treating an earache. To create garlic oil, crush a garlic clove. Then, put it in a small jar and submerge it in olive oil.  In order to blend the garlic and th olive oil, let the mixture sit for up to three days. Once the mixture has been created, heat the oil just a bit.  After that, pour the oil into the aching ear with a spoon, making sure that the head remains tilted up for five minutes. Put a cotton ball in the affected earl. This procedure can be done up to four times per day. The olive oil from this mixture can also be used to treat the infection. Alternatively, sesame oil and garlic can be combined in the jar for the same result.

○     Castor Oil

Castor oil is considered one of the most effective earache remedies. Take a cotton ball and dip it into Castor oil. Once the Castor oil has been collected on the cotton ball, pour a few drops into the ear that has been infected. The purpose behind this treatment is to draw the infection from the ear.

○     Hot Air

It is not too often that being full of hot air is a good thing. In this case, it is good for an ear to be full of hot air. The heat will soothe the ear. Also, it will melt the wax within the ear.

○     Warm, Moist Towel

A warm, moist toil wrapped around or on top of the ears will be a soothing experience.

○     Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove wax from the ear canal. Removing the wax should help relieve the ache. Just a few drops poured into the ear should be enough..

○     One of the many earache home remedies is to use a vaporizer. A vaporizer can help keep air moist. The steam it provides gives a soothing sensation, much like the warm, moist towel around the ears

Earache remedies are an effective method to relieving pain. However, it is still important to seek a doctors care so there are no complications like hearing loss. Some interesting home remedies are garlic, sesame and Castor oils. Castor oil is thought of as one of the most effective solutions to an earache since it draws th infection out of the ear. Using hot air to melt the wax and soothe the ears is another interesting option when treating an earache at home. Steam from a wet, moist towel is a similar solution.
